Begivenheter

Av de viktige begivenheter for oss mustasjeprydede menn, må vel VM i skjegg og mustasje være det viktigste. Vi hadde
VM i Trondheim i 1997 (omtalt i bilder et annet sted på hjemmesidene våre).
I 2002 var det VM i Ystad i Sverige og
2003 i Nevada i USA.

Neste VM blir i Berlin 1te okt 2005.
Deretter i London 2007.

Konkuranse/Kategorier

Mustasjer

Natural

Areas more than 1.5 cm (0.6 in) past the corner of the mouth must be shaved.

No artificial styling aids.

English

Narrow; beginning at the middle of the upper lip the whiskers are very long and pulled to the side, slightly curled; the ends are pointed slightly upward ; areas past the corner of the mouth must be shaved.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

Dali

Narrow; long points bent or curved steeply upward; areas past the corner of the mouth must be shaved.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

Handlebar

Bushy; small, upward pointing ends; areas past the corner of the mouth must be shaved.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

Wild West

Large; bushy; whiskers brushed from the middle to the side of the upper lip; areas more than 1.5 cm (0.6 in) past the corner of the mouth must be shaved.

Artificial styling aids are permitted.

Fu Manchu

Areas other than the upper lip or up to 2 cm (0.8 in) past the corner of the mouth and downward along the side of the chin must be shaved. Ends long and pointing down.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

Imperial

Whiskers growing from the cheeks and upper lip; chin shaved; whiskers growing from the cheeks point upward.

Freestyle

All moustaches not in any other category. Areas more than 1.5 cm (0.6 in) past the corner of the mouth must be shaved. Otherwise, anything goes! Creativity encouraged.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

 

Halvskjegg

Natural

No artificial styling aids.

 Musketeer

Small pointed goatee, clearly separated from the moustache, which is especially prominent.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

 Sideburns                                        

Any length.  Moustache optional.     

Artificial styling aids permitted.

 

 Freestyle

All other goatees and partial beards. Anything goes! Creativity encouraged.

Artificial styling aids are permitted.

 

Fullskjegg



 



 

 
Natural.

Full beard flowing downward. Moustache fully integrated.

No artificial styling aids permitted.

 Full beard, styled moustache.

The beard flows downward without the use of artificial styling aids; the moustache is styled with artificial styling aids.

Garibaldi

Wide and full; bottom round; moustache integrated.

No artificial styling aids permitted.

 Verdi

Bottom round; relatively short; cheeks slightly shaved; moustache prominent.

Artificial styling aids permitted.

 Freestyle.

Anything goes! Creativity encouraged.

Artificial styling aids permitted.
